We’ve Partnered Up with the West Side Campaign Against Hunger!

”Everyone Can Be Part Of The Solution”

On a mission to fight hunger on the streets of New York, West Side Campaign Against Hunger provides free healthy food options and support services out of well-organized basement quarters at the Church of Saint Paul and Saint Andrew on the upper West Side in NYC.

In recent years the organization teamed up with neighborhood CSAs and wholesale food suppliers in efforts to provide low-income households access to healthy and nutritious food.

Seeing this mission as a great way to support our local community and others, Riviera Produce partnered up with the dedicated and hard-working team at West Side Campaign Against Hunger to provide nutrient-dense fresh produce to individuals and families in need. And as we look back on 2021, our friends at WSCAH have shared some pretty awe-inspiring numbers with us.

In the last year alone, WSCAH served over 27,000 individual households and distributed over 4.2 million pounds of food across all five boroughs of New York City. Riviera Produce is honored to have been part of making its mission a success.

We believe these results are incredible and speak to the increased need for healthy food across NYC. But their quest is neither new nor ending. Each year, this collaboration between CSAs and food pantries puts high-quality, fresh produce into the hands of some 35,000 families the agency serves.

As WSCAH continues to support low-income households, we’ll strive to do our best to help them source the very best produce to those who need it most.
